The Foot Center of SWISS ORTHO CENTER (Swiss Foot Surgery Center / Foot & Ankle Center Basel / Center for Ankle Total Arthroplasty Basel) is a renowned, nationally and internationally recognized center for foot surgery and ankle surgery with innovation and academic teaching and research.
Both injuries as well as post-traumatic, congenital, or acquired deformities in the foot and ankle region are treated according to the latest evidence-based literature and research findings and individually adapted.
The Foot Center of SWISS ORTHO CENTER is a center of excellence for the treatment of ankle arthritis and thus specializes in the implantation of ankle joint prostheses (total ankle replacement) or joint preservation through osteotomies and cartilage surgery.

Arthritis, joint degeneration, is a widespread musculoskeletal disease.

The Arthritis Center of SWISS ORTHO CENTER is a center of excellence with recognition beyond national borders, one of the orthopedic centers of Basel and part of the Osteoarthritis Research Center Basel (www.osteoarthritis.ch). The Arthritis Center provides both conservative arthritis medicine and arthritis surgery according to the latest findings, depending on individual situation and needs.
At the Arthritis Center, patients are diagnosed using modern methods, such as SPECT-CT (modern precise diagnosis of active arthritis). Depending on the severity, patients are assessed interdisciplinarily: orthopaedic , rheumatology, neurology, neural therapy, orthopedic technology, physiotherapy.
